11 de 16 – Corre !

(Thanks Ondrap for the english translation (see further down))
Corre, corre, corre,
que te van a echar el guante.
Lo tienen decidido,
debes ser otro eslabón
y tú desde muy crío
te saliste del renglón.
(…)

Run, run, run,
cause they gonna get you.
They've already decided it,
you must be another link
and from your childhood
you were apart from the herd.
(…)
We know what they want
and althought it doesn't convince us,
we are in the game
we are their worry.
Leño
Although Leño wrote this with a street meaning from their time (and let us so good songs), I propose another reading with a bigger sense, clear in both parts.
This fucking society in which we live is thought to get you and make you another link. They have decided it long time ago and everything that surrounds us goes in that direction. Any person with common sense notices it but what majority does (we do) is to let themselves go by that continuous pressure. And that's no good. We should stop and run in the opposite direction and pay attention to what surrounds us; be critical, doubt, don't assume everything that we hear without thinking.
"We know what they want and although it doesn't convince us, we are in the game, we are their worry".
There are a lot of dissidents from the official culture, even in the field of the pure scientific investigation. And all those publications or cultural demonstrations that escape from the "normal" line, are usually minimized, in a first moment hindering its realization and then, if they still get to be, they are ignored by the media (Tv, press…) or, better say, uncomunication and disinformation.
It's the best weapon they have, and as we are in the game and we are their worry, they use it without any care at school.
I finish speaking about children. Since I have children I’m more aware of all of that. Educational system of our time is on this and is another piece of the big machine that creates links. To all parents or people involved with children, don't deceive yourselves believing that they're gonna teach them to think.
It's our responsibility to teach them to think, to ask why, to run in the opposite direction, with common sense, from the inside of the society in which we have to live, to see if we can improve it.
Today I woke up feeling like running. To those who have read until here, thank you!

THE A LIST! had a party last night that included some of the best dj's on the Second Life grid. If we had had more days, we could have included all the music makers in our group!
Xavier rezzed an old build from 2006 on my region, RiverLand. The cave was originally an extension of a larger build from a long ago club that he owned.
We invited our friends and group members to celebrate both Xavi's birthday and THE A LIST! one year anniversary in 2010.
Many thanks goes to our dj's: DDirty Adamczyk from Dance4Life, SAO Tokyoska from Skanda Productions, Amish Mighty from Club Industry, Sebastian Niero from ScoutLounge, Healer Ladybird from Boom Festival and Mr Widget from Muzik Haus.
Special thanks to Marebella Magic, Victoria Grau and the other hostesses for helping shout. And, a big up to Electronic Music Informer, Digital Nation, Ravers on Dope and I Love House Music for allowing our shouts in their groups.
And to all THE A LIST! group members for supporting us this past year. We couldn't have achieved our goals without you!
